Primary Nine is a development laboratory for transbuccal dosage forms — medicine absorbed through the lining of the cheek, without a needle and without passing through the stomach.

We develop formulations for peptides, biologics, vaccine antigens and novel molecules, in human and animal programmes, and license the delivery platform to compounding practices.
